Yreka

Yep, Yreka. We think its pronounced similar to Eureka, but we're still not sure yet. Just about to head out for a day of travel. Going to Sacramento today and will spend 2 nights there. It will be a welcome break from all of this driving as it has been a little tough on the kids. They have faired very well so far though. Really no major incidents to report so far, just some minor things that the kids have said and did. The walkie talkies are working out really well Dad. We bought some pay and talk cell phones at Wal-Mart, they were $30 and they come with 300 minutes! Crazy how cheap some things are here.

We also stopped and got a little booze. An 18 pack of Bud, bottle of wine, 500ml bottle of Bud with lime, and a 2L of pop, the total, $23. It's amazing there aren't more alcoholics here. The guy at the beer store was quite amusing and reminded me a little of Mater off of the Disney movie Cars. Referring to us drinking all of the beer he said, "Now don't do anything that I wouldn't do, but if you do, take pictures and brag about it."

Anyway we have to run, I'll write more in Sacramento.
