Happy Hour
The hotel that we stayed at in Anaheim for Disneyland had Happy Hour three nights of the week. During that time the hotel would serve free beer, wine, and snacks like meatball sandwiches, hot dogs and chili. It was great and we really enjoyed having a free meal or two thrown in the mix. The lady that was serving the alcohol was about 70 and was the sweetest lady in the world. She would always complement us on our kids and have questions about how our day was at Disneyland. She kind of reminded me of Betty White. So here we are in the 'Sun Downer' area. By the way, the glow on my face is from the warm emotions found because of her company, not the free beer.

ReplyDeleteLooks Like You are having a great trip,I have enjoyed reading Your Blog this Morning, I cant imagine taking 7 Children to the Grocery store,let alone across the Country in a car, lol, You guys are amazing. I also liked the bits about the free meals, I can only imagine what a relief it is not having to pull your wallet out those times. I also giggled at Your Mom's comment about making sure the bikes are locked, Mom's alway's worry no matter how old their kids are. Your a inspiration, and maybe someday We will be lucky enough to do this with Our Grandchildren.
We were just down to Vic this weekend, stormy weather here in Powell River, lost the roof on Our gazebo, shorts and tee shirt weather in Vict, We had a great time with all Our kids. Enjoy the rest of Your day's, and a safe trip home.

HI This is Mom on Nana's computer. Dad is up at Dodd Lake fishing with Blake. Weather is gorgious -I am going to cut the grass again this afternoon. Your Lap Top arrived in the mail.
